Criteria:
This award recognizes the site’s focus on operating at the highest level every day to deliver world-class products to customers, the company that has strived towards operational excellence, having made significant progress with such techniques as lean and six sigma, in turn minimising waste across their manufacturing processes while simultaneously maximising customer value.
This award recognises improvements, wholesale change, upgrades and redesigns of technologies, machinery, facilities, IT and data systems used within the factory.
Entries please:
- Describe in 250 words company’s manufacturing process, including the application of modern management techniques aimed to improve operating efficiencies, promote excellent quality, consistency and yield competitive cost of goods from existing and new facilities, processes and manufacturing operations.
- In 100 words define specific achievements at the site.
- Illustrate in 100 words the benefits of improving company’s manufacturing operations.
